If these outlets aren't there then remember consequences before acting in haste, a secret affair or sudden displacement of anger to the wrong person can send your world reeling. For those inclined this is a good time for body/mind integration with things like yoga, meditation, or very physical activities that you harmonize your mind while doing. Swimming laps or saying a positive mantra while on a treadmill are some options.
Lastly there may actually be a seperation happening or a sudden realization that there is a big hole where you thought there was support which would bring up fears in these matters and if so then don't just sweep any emotions under the rug. I daresay you will be hard pressed to do so and will likely have to imbibe or otherwise use something to alter your mind should you try to force things away - remember that will only be a temporary fix . Talk things out with friends or loved ones and if you still find any lingering attachment to the negative then write it in a journal or otherwise use it in a personally expressive manner- poetry, singing, drawing, etc. After that make a concrete plan to change whatever circumstance feel limiting to you. All the while loving yourself for all the good things you are. Write those down too!
